Marjorie Saxman

June 15, 1929 — April 20, 2019

Marjorie J. Saxman, age 89 a resident of Portland passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Adams Memorial Hospital in Decatur, Indiana.  She worked at Jay Garment for several years and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Portland.  She enjoyed going to area flea markets and garage sales.

Marjorie Saxman was born June 15, 1929 in Jay County, Indiana the daughter of Laurel and Inez (Caylor) Warnock.  She was married December 30, 1945 to Howard Saxman. He passed away on May 27, 2003.

Survivors Include:

1 Son- Vernon Saxman (wife-Ingrid), Portland, Indiana

1 Daughter- Sharon Fowler (husband-Mick), Portland, Indiana

4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held from 12:00pm -2:00pm Wednesday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Pastor Wayne Ward will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.

Memorials may be directed to Riley Hospital for Children.
