Martha Geesaman

Martha E. Geesaman, age 85, a resident of Pennville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Martha and her husband were the former owners of Geesaman Feed and Grain in Pennville, Martha and husband also farmed in rural Pennville, Martha also worked at Ken Kunkle Chevrolet in Portland for several years.

Martha was born on August 26, 1930, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of Howard M. and Elsie (Hitesman) Cash.  She graduated from Pennville High School in Pennville, Indiana in 1948

Martha was married to Kermit Geesaman for 67 years.

Her husband:  Kermit Geesaman – Pennville, Indiana

5 sons: Troy L. Geesaman – Dunkirk, Indiana

Ralph L. Geesaman – Rome City, Indiana

Earl Geesaman – Pennville, Indiana

Richard Geesaman – Texas

Tim Geesaman – Berne, Indiana

1 daughter:  Connie Sue Ford – Lawn, Texas

1 sister:  Mary Lou Judy – Ft. Recovery, Ohio

1 brother: Glenn Howard Cash (Norma) – Pennville, Indiana

28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12-2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, West of Portland.
