Mary J. Arnold

Mary J. Arnold, age 88 a resident of Portland passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and the Deborah Circle of the church. She worked at Hardwick Poultry in Fort Recovery and Jay Garment in Portland for many years.
Mary Arnold was born July 17, 1928 in Jay County the daughter of Wesley and Sarah (Harker) Smith.

1 Son- Mark Arnold (wife-Evelyn), Portland, Indiana
1 Brother- Max Smith (wife-Gale), Ft. Wayne, Indiana
3 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Strietelmeier officiating. Burial will follow in the Salamonia Cemetery southeast of Portland.
