Mary Joan Clear

Mary Joan Clear, age 90, a resident of Portland, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at Cardinal Care in Muncie.

Mary was born on January 30, 1932, in Portland, the daughter of Philo and Minnie (Wallace) Bailey.  She graduated from Portland High School in 1950 and worked as a phone operator in Portland for many years.  Mary was a member of West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.  She married Richard Clear on October 7, 1951 and he passed away on September 15, 2000.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews

Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Green Park Cemetery in Portland.

Memorials may be directed towards West Walnut Street Church of Christ in Portland.
