Mary Gray
November 6, 1929 — December 28, 2013
Mary E. Gray, age 84, a Portland resident passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Swiss Village in Berne. She was a member of the West Walnut St. Church of Christ in Portland. She graduated in 1948 from Portland High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky and then received her Master degree in nursing from Arizona State University. She retired from teaching at Ball State University School of Nursing.
Mary Gray was born November 6, 1929 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Eyman and Anna (Coulson) Turner. She was married in 1950 to Frank Gray who passed away in 2007.
Survivors Include:
1 Son- Philip Gray, Portland, Indiana
2 Daughters- Melinda Gray, Portland, Indiana
Jamie Prior, Chandler, Arizona
5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 3-4pm on Friday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
A memorial service will be held at 4pm Friday at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow at a later date in Green Park Cemetery.
