Mary E. Hiser
April 11, 1923 — December 5, 2017
Mary E. Hiser, age 94, a former Salamonia resident passed away Tuesday December 5, 2017 at The Gardens of Celina, Ohio.
Mary was born April 11, 1923 the daughter of Francis and Mabel (Norris) Schroeder. She graduated from Madison Township High School in 1941 and worked for 25 years at Jay Garment in Portland before retiring in 1985. Mary was a charter member of the VFW Auxiliary in Salamonia and was a member of First Church of Christ in Ft. Recovery, Ohio.
Mary married Delma W. Hiser on April 1, 1942. Delma passed away on June 28, 1988.

2 Sons: Paul L. Hiser – Ft. Recovery, Ohio
Keith E. Hiser (Wife Sharon) – Winchester, Indiana
1 Daughter: Carol Gephart (Husband Bob) – Portland, Tennessee
23 Grandchildren, several Great Grandchildren, and several Great-Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 p.m.-1p.m. at the First Church of Christ in Ft. Recovery, Ohio. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Church. Burial will be at a later date in the Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia.
Memorials may be directed towards the First Church of Christ in Fort Recovery, Ohio.
