Merrill D. Bryant, age 74, a resident of Redkey, passed away on September 15, 2014 at his home in Redkey.
Merrill was born on September 1, 1940, in Redkey, Indiana, the son of Quentin and Juanita (Hatzell) Bryant. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving from 1959 to 1963. He worked as a TV tower antenna painter.
American Legion Post #211 of Portland will conduct military graveside rites will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery, south of Redkey.
