Michele Smith, age 57, a resident of Portland, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.
Michele was born on July 21, 1956, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Dale Arnold, Jr. and Theda (Masonbrink) Arnold. She worked in housekeeping at Persimmon Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Portland.

1 brother-in-law: James Allen Eal - Columbus, Ohio
4 grandchildren, 12 nieces and nephews, 18 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Randy Smith will officiate and burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
Memorials may be directed towards Family LifeCare Hospice in Berne or Jay County Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
