Nanette Atkins

Nanette Atkins, age 79 a resident of Pennville passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center.  She was retired from CTS in Berne after many years.  She was a member of the Crossroads Church in New Castle, Indiana.

Nanette Atkins was born May 20, 1939 in Bowling Green, Ohio the daughter of Ellis and Catherine (Swanagan) Gee.  After the death of her parents she was raised by Albert and Mary Swanagan and has several brothers and sisters from this extended family.  She was married on November 19, 1983 to Wytte Atkins and he passed away on November 20, 1988.

Survivors Include:

3 Sons- Frank McDavid (wife- Barbara), Deerfield, Indiana

Kenny McDavid, New Castle, Indiana

Randy McDavid, New Castle, Indiana

2 Daughters- Debra Wilkin (husband-Robert), Wilmington, Ohio

Tammy McDavid, Pennville, Indiana

19 Grandchildren , 37 Great Grandchildren,  4 Great- Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Spare in 2012.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday in the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home.  Pastor Danny Douglas will officiate the services with cremation to follow.  Burial will follow at a later date in IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00am-2:00pm on Wednesday  prior to the services at the funeral home.
