Nina Records

Nina Records, age 93 a resident of Portland passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Dunkirk.  She was a registered nurse and worked at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana and the Dalton Foundry in Warsaw.  She and her late husband Earl, were owners of White Metal Rolling and Stamping in Warsaw, Indiana.  She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland, Jay County Hospital Auxiliary and Tri-Kappa Associates Chapter.

Nina Records was born April 21, 1927 in Spencer County, Indiana the daughter of Edwin and Mary Elizabeth (Johnson) Ayer.  She was married in 1977 to Earl Records and he passed away in 2010

Survivors Include:

1 Son- Steven Douglas (wife-Bonnie), Dacula, Georgia

3 Daughters- Carol Wallace (husband-John) Salem, Massachusetts, Sally Records, Indianapolis, Indiana and Pam Bennett (husband-Pat), Portland, Indiana

8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Records.

Private services for the family will be held Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, Indiana.  Pastor Allison Yankey will officiate the service.
