Norreen J. Coats, age 55, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Norreen was born on August 2, 1958, in Barstow, California, the daughter of Thomas Lee and Eileen (Severance) Marsh. She was a member of the National Rifle Association. Norreen worked for Burger King, Bandido’s, Holiday Inn, Circle K and Sonoco, all in Portland. She married Jerry Coats on July 1, 2011.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Billy Stanton officiating.
