Patricia Joy (Middaugh) Armstrong

Patricia Joy (Middaugh) Armstrong, age 79, a Portland resident and former Greene Twp resident passed away Wednesday at her son’s home in Yorktown.  She worked as a waitress and secretary for Morgan Packing in Redkey.  She was a hostess at Richards Restaurant in Portland for several years and worked at CTS in Berne.   She was a member and past President of the Portland Women’s Christian Temperance Union and attended the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Collett.

Patricia was born April 1, 1935 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Cecil and Rachel (Hutson) Middaugh.  She was married in 1975 to Glen Armstrong and he passed away in 1987.

SURVIVORS INCLUDE:

1 Son- Randy Mahon, Yorktown, Indiana

1 Daughter- Teresa Mahon, Dunkirk, Indiana

2 Step sons- Duane and Kevin Armstrong

3 Step Daughters- Linda Stewart, Brenda Favre, and Shirley Ann Armstrong

2 Aunts- Clara Denney (husband-Bud),  Bryant, Indiana, Thelma Middaugh, Bryant, Indiana

1 Uncle-Homer Money (wife-Marilyn), Kokomo, Indiana

16 Grandchildren

1 Son preceded her in death- Robert Mahon

Visitation will be held from 11-1pm Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Portland.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Portland.  Pastor Terry Bye, Pastor Steve Arnold, and Rev. Phill Jellison  will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery west of Portland.

Arrangements are being entrusted to the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
