Patsy S. Laux

Patsy Laux, age 81, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.

Patsy was born on March 9, 1940, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Fred and Lola (Hudson) Longnecker.  She worked for Jay Garment in Portland and NAAS Foods in Geneva.  Patsy was an avid salt and pepper collector and enjoyed word searches and reading.  She married Thomas Laux on November 24, 1962 and he passed away on June 13, 1995.

Ramona “Rose” Overla (husband Dean (Deceased))– Stroh, Indiana

Paula Guthrie (husband Robert) – Lima, Ohio

Linda Kelly (husband John) – Portland, Indiana

2 sisters:   Rita Patterson (husband George) – Portland, Indiana

Betty Myers (husband Tom) – Celina, Ohio

9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Burial will follow at Holy Trinity Catholic Church Cemetery, east of Bryant.
