Patty Lou Newton

Patty Lou Newton, age 86, a resident of Portland, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Persimmon Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Portland.

Patty was born January 1, 1938 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of John and Lucille (Campbell) Boyd. She attended Winchester High School. Patty married Ralph Henizer passed away on October 16, 1966. She then married John Newton in October 1974 he passed away on April 3, 1987.

A son: Eugene Henizer – Pennville, Indiana

3 daughters: Rosatta Kunkle (husband Jeff) – Salamonia, Indiana

Lucille Motter – Pennville, Indiana

Beverly Wentz (husband Tom) – Eaton, Indiana

2 sisters: Rosanna Retz – Winchester, Indiana

Beverly Myers – Portland, Indiana

Several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Boyd, Charles Boyd, Robert Boyd, George Boyd, and John Boyd Jr. and three sisters Ruth Reigel, Mary Cash, and Betty Jean Boyd.
