Randy L. Betz

Randy L. Betz, age 68, a resident of Portland, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland.

Randy was born on May 20, 1955, in Portland, the son of Bazil and Madonna (Shauver) Betz. Randy graduated from Portland High School in 1974. He retired from Metaldyne in Bluffton, Indiana.

Survivors include:

2 daughters: Christy Day

Traci Clark (husband Jerod) – Portland, Indiana

1 brother: Gary Betz (wife Vickie) – Portland, Indiana

Ex-wife: Donna Betz – Portland, Indiana

5 grandchildren

1 niece:  Sarah McClure – Portland, Indiana

He was preceded in death by a nephew Andrew Betz.

Private services will be held will be held at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Burial will follow at Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana.
