Raymond Lake

Raymond D. Lake, age 88, a resident of Portland, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, at his home in Portland.
Raymond was born on March 27, 1928, in Jay County, Indiana, the son of Fred and Nona (Martin) Lake. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Raymond retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad in 1988 after 44 years of service. Memberships include the Portland Moose Lodge, Portland Masonic Lodge, VFW in Fort Recovery and the Scottish Rite and Shriners in Fort Wayne. He married Mary Ann Hale on August 25, 1951 and she passed away in 1961.

Barbara Ann Lake – Portland, Indiana
1 brother: Paul Lake – Portland, Indiana
1 sister: Ruth Lake – Portland, Indiana
3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren
Graveside services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana. Pastor Wayne Ward will officiate.
