Raymond Vore

Raymond Vore, age 85 a resident of rural Ridgeville passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at his home. He farmed in Jay County, and drove a semi for Casters Trucking. He also worked at Vore’s Welding and Steel in Ft. Recovery, Ohio and Redkey Sawmill.
He was born November 7, 1928 in Warren, Indiana in Blackford County, the son of Lloyd and Susie (Nibarger) Vore. He was married in 1949 to Marie Stockton and she preceded him in death in 2011.

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Rev. Jonathan Edwards will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie, Indiana.
