Renea Sue Gierhart, age 52, a resident of Yorktown, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at her home in Yorktown. She was a former Jay County resident.
Renea was born on September 18, 1963, in Jay County, Indiana, the daughter of Richard and Carolyn Sue (Stauffer) Gierhart. She graduated from Jay County High School in 1981 and earned her LPN from Ball State and later her RN from Ivy Tech. She worked for Fresenius Medical Care as an Acute Dialysis Nurse.

Terry Horak – West Palm Beach, Florida
1 brother: Rich Gierhart (wife Tisha) – Redkey, Indiana
5 grandchildren
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Earl Doll will officiate and burial will follow in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
