Ricardo Nava

Ricardo Nava, age 43, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022.

Ricardo was born on October 3, 1978, in Torreón, Mexico, the son of Mario Nava and Olga Carmona.  Ricardo was a veteran of the Mexican Army.  He was an avid golfer and a member of the Wabash Valley Golf Course.  Ricardo enjoyed making others laugh.  He loved his kids and family very much.  Ricardo worked at MSSL in Portland.  He married Brittany Denney on August 31, 2016.

His wife: Brittany Nava – Portland, Indiana

His father:  Mario Nava – Torreón, Mexico

His children:  Natalie, Melissa, Ricardo and Adrian Nava all of Portland, Indiana

Step-son:  Koblyn Martinez – Portland, Indiana

Siblings:  Nery Nava, Mario Nava, Berenice Martinez and Sergio Woo

His dog:  Millie Nava

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Father Logsdon officiating.
