Richard Dorris, age 82, a resident of Portland, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at his home.
Richard was born August 15, 1941 in Los Angeles, California the son of Donald and Grace (Barker) Dorris. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and severed during Vietnam. He married Denise Germaine-Christophe she passed away in 2022.
Survivors Include
2 step-daughters: Debbie Reynolds-Michaelson (husband Matthew Michaelson) – Parker, Arizona
Denise Ellen Williams- Reno, Nevada
Lifelong friend: Dannie McVey (wife Kathreen) – Portland, Indiana
Burial will held Wednesday, February 21 at 1:00 pm at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
