Robert Joseph Micheau

Robert Joseph Micheau, age 67, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Robert was born on August 22, 1955, the son of Willard and Fern (Grinnels) Micheau.  He graduated from Jay County High School in 1974 and earned an associate’s degree from Grace College and Purdue University.  He married Rita Luedeke in 1994.

3 daughters:  Amber Hicks (husband David) – Portland, Indiana

Precious Nelson (husband Larry) – Portland, Indiana

Kayla Smith (husband Kyle) – Bluffton, Indiana

Grandchildren: Thalia Nava, Breanna Clevenger, Sydia Castillo, Kiya Hicks, Adriene Denney, Shaelynn Lothridge and Logan Weaver

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12-2 p.m. at the Pennville Chapel of Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, west of Portland.
