Robert T. Vance Jr., age 43, a rural Portland resident passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at his Pike Twp home. He was self employed as an owner/ operator truck driver for over 20 years. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 211 in Portland.
He was born August 26, 1970 in Portland, Indiana the son of Robert and Diana (Romine) Vance Sr. He was married on March 9, 2007 to Misty Arnold.

His father- Robert Vance Sr., Torrington, Connecticut
Step Grandfather- Linus Mescher, Portland, Indiana
2 Aunts- Barb Whitenack (husband-Doug), Portland, Indiana
Sadonna Hinshaw (husband-Ronnie), Saratoga, Indiana
1 granddaughter and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Monday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 6pm Monday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Bruce Stong will officiate the services and cremation will follow.
