Rodney Price, age 61, a resident of Decatur, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was a former resident of Pennville, Indiana.

Rodney was born March 1, 1964, in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of Loren and Inis (Parker) Price. He graduated from Blackford High School and worked at Pretzels in Bluffton and Goldshield in Decatur. Rodney enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Limberlost Coon Hunters Club.

He is survived by his children: Matthew Price (wife Megan) of Bryant, Indiana, and Megan Milthaler (husband Tyler) of Portland, Indiana; his mother: Inis Price of Albany, Indiana; his siblings: Kathy Noland, Sandy Berry (husband Chester), Denny Price, Brenda Rodriguez, and Kelly Price (Jeff Overla); and nine grandchildren: Takoah, Gavin, Marcus, Athena, Aliyah, Owen, Jaxon, Isabella, and Cory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Loren Price; his son, Cory Price; and his brother, Doug Price.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4–7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Tom Fetts will officiate, and burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery, west of Bryant.
