Rosalie Pauline Aker

Rosalie Pauline Aker, age 92, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at Persimmon Ridge in Portland.

Pauline was born on November 8, 1930, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Orlo and Velma (Glentzer) Axe.  She graduated from Portland High School in 1949 and retired from CTS in Berne after 21 years of service.  She married Clarence Sam Aker on September 10, 1949 and he passed away on January 23, 2006.

Survivor include:

2 children:  Steve Aker – Portland, Indiana

Clay Aker (wife Robin) – Loveland, Colorado

6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren

Burial will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery, northeast of Portland.
