Russell Curme, age 86, a resident of Redkey, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Golden Living Center in Muncie.
Russell was born on March 13, 1929, in Jay County, Indiana, the son of George and Eva (Overmyer) Curme. Russell was a 1947 graduate of Redkey High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Ball Glass in Dunkirk. Russell married Phyllis Forrest on September 15, 1956.

1 brother: William Curme (wife Gloria) – Hartford City, Indiana
5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3-5 p.m. at the Redkey Church of the Nazarene Church. Memorial services will follow at 4 p.m. at the church on Friday with Pastor Rob Farris officiating. The Portland American Legion Post #211 of Portland will conduct military rites at the church.
