Shanna Jones

Shanna Jones, age 47, a resident of Dunkirk passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at her home in Dunkirk, Indiana.

Shanna was born on January 1, 1973 in Knox County, Tennessee the daughter of Mark and Nina (Davis) Peterson. She worked at Suits by Amy, Jay Schools Corporation and at the Jay County Retirement Center. She also was involved in 4-H with her children for many years.

Survivors include:

1 son: Chris Jones – Huntington, Indiana

1 daughter: Natashia Jones – Dunkirk, Indiana

1 brother: Mark Peterson Jr. (wife Linda) – Coalfield, Tennessee

Visitation will be held Friday, September 4, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. A celebration of life service will follow at 7 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to the Jay County Humane Society and Mid-West Pet Refuge.

Face coverings will be required when social distancing cannot be maintained.
