Sherri Rogers

Sherri Rogers, age 52, a resident of rural Portland, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland.

Sherri was born on March 29, 1967 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Clyde Hollingsworth and Wanda Mohler.  She married John Rogers on August 28, 2004.

Sherri worked for Stoneridge in Portland for 12 year and was recently employed at FCC in Portland.  Sherri enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly time with her grandchildren.

2 sons:  Jeremy Weiss (wife Drema) – Portland, Indiana

Anthony Weiss – Farmland, Indiana

1 daughter:  Amanda Wilson (husband Joe) – Winchester, Indiana

2 step-daughters:  Brittanie Dailey (companion Steve Johnson) – Portland, Indiana

Bridgett Coleman (husband Kyle) - La Fontaine, Indiana

2 brothers:  Jerry Hollingsworth (wife Amy) – Berne, Indiana

Phil Hollingsworth (wife Peggy) – Berne, Indiana

2 sisters:  Patti Hollingsworth (companion Billiam Burk) – Kentucky

Jenny Ervin (husband Duane) – Berne, Indiana

4 grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Hollingsworth and Wanda Mohler, a brother, Bobby Hollingsworth and a sister, Angie Hubbard.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1 at Pennville United Methodist Church in Pennville.
