Shirley J. Gibson

Shirley J. Gibson , age 78, a resident of Portland passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center. She retired in 1996 from Jay Garment Co. after 32 years. She attended the Gospel Light House Church and the Portland First Church of the Nazarene.
She was born October 10, 1934 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of George and Helen (Wrightsman) Mervin.
Survivors Include:
1 Daughter- Ruby Nifong (husband- Rick), Portland, In.
1 Granddaughter - Dawn Imel (husband-Jake)
3 Great Grandsons- Skyler and Kamron Petty, Drake Imel
Visitation will be held from 1-5pm on Saturday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held at 5pm Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Rogers Durham will officiate the service.
Memorials may be directed to The Hospice Group and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
