Susan Marie Funk

Susan Marie Funk, age 52, a resident of Muncie, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014, at her home in Muncie.

Susan was born on May 19, 1962 in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of Franklin and Janet (Snyder) Wimmer.  She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a degree in Art History.  Susan married Dwight Funk on July 7, 1984.

Her husband:  Dwight Funk – Muncie, Indiana

3 daughters:  Diana Funk – Muncie, Indiana

Beverly Beard (husband Daniel) – Muncie, Indiana

Cassandra Gallagher (husband Christopher) – New Castle, Indiana

1 sister:  Laura Wimmer – Marion, Indiana

Aunt and Uncle:  Sherill and Carol Pence – Marion, Indiana

1 granddaughter:  Zoe Gallagher

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the South Side Church of the Nazarene, 3500 W. Fuson Road, Muncie, Indiana 47301.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the South Side Church of the Nazarene in Muncie with Pastor Andrew Cole officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tomlinson Cemetery in Muncie.

Memorials may be directed towards Christian Healthcare Ministries or American Cancer Society.
