Talma “Sue” Wilhelm, age 72 a resident of Portland passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at IU Health Jay Hospital. She was a homemaker and was a babysitter for many years from her home in Portland.
Talma “Sue” Wilhelm was born August 29, 1947 in Portland, Indiana the daughter of Keith and Dorothy (Smith) Hartley. She was married on September 11, 1965 to Glen Wilhelm, Jr. and he passed away on March 23, 2013.
Survivors Include:
4 Sons- Glen D. Wilhelm (wife-Trudy), Portland, Perry A. Wilhelm (wife-Betty), Portland, Danny P. Wilhelm (wife- Hollie), Portland, and Patrick R. Wilhelm (wife-Kathy), Decatur.
2 Daughters- Holly D. Miller (companion-Mike), rural Montpelier, Crystal L. Schuler, Portland
Daughter in law- Tammy Wilhelm, Portland.
1 Brother- Richard Hower, Huntington, Indiana
25 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry A. Wilhelm on December 11, 2017.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm-6:00pm on Thursday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Friday at the funeral home with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Pastor Phill Jellison will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
