Thelma "Deanna" Jackson, age 73, a resident of Portland passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Dunkirk. She worked at Jay County Hospital and retired from environmental services after 20 years. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Portland.
She was born April 20, 1939 in Cottage Corner, Kentucky the daughter of Elmer and Clara (Lewis) Riddle. She was married November 17, 1954 to Charlie Jackson.

1 Son- Jeff Jackson, Muncie, Indiana
2 Daughters- Bonnie Taylor (husband-Chuck), Portland, Indiana
Charlotte Tomlinson (husband- Dennis), Churubusco, Indiana
2 Brothers- James Riddle (wife-Eloise), Fairview, Indiana
Denny Riddle, Hartford City, Indiana
3 Sisters- Carlene Woolard, Manahawkin, New Jersey
Mareta Dye (husband- Elwood), Niles, Michigan
Norma Wilson, Portland, Indiana
7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday at Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Eric Riddle will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
