Timmy “Tim” Bennett, age 46 a resident of Portland passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at Jay County Hospital. He and his wife were directors of the Jayland Homeless Shelter in Portland. He also worked at Wal-Mart in Portland.
Timmy Bennett was born September 15, 1968 in Bluffton, Indiana the son of William and Sylvia (Brown) Bennett. He was married on October 16, 2010 to Stacy Mast.

His Mother- Sylvia Keller, Ossian, Indiana
1 Son- Holden Bennett, Ossian, Indiana
1 Daughter- Kiah Bennett, Ossian, Indiana
2 Brothers- John and Brian Bennett, Bluffton, Indiana
1 Twin Sister- Teresa Beeks (husband-Jeremy), Bluffton, Indiana
Graveside services will be held at 10:30am Monday in the Center Cemetery, west of Portland. Pastor Tim Dilley will officiate the services.
