Victor A. Williams

Victor A. Williams, a former resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center in Albany, Indiana.
Victor was born on July 14, 1920, in Louisville, Kentucky the son of George and Katie (Essex) Williams. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II. Victor then worked for Brockway Glass Company in Pomona, California for 21 years. He married Effie M. White on December 6, 1941 and she passed away on June 30, 1995.

1 sister-in-law: Evenlyn Dunmoyer - Portland, Indiana
Several nieces and nephews including Helen Wright and Sue Boughman of rural Portland.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1 - 2 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Graveside services will follow at the Green Park Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Borders officiating. The American Legion Post #211 of Portland will conduct military graveside rites.
