Virginia M. Myron, age 90 a resident of Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was a former Portland and Pennville resident and also resided in Sebring, Florida for several years. She was a member of the Portland First Church of the Nazarene. She was employed as a nurses aid at Jay County Hospital for many years. She was a 1942 graduate of Portland High School.
She was born August 3, 1922 in Jay County the daughter of Arlet and Lena (Siders) Walter. She was married in 1976 to Russell Myron who passed away in 1989.

1 Brother deceased- Vern Walter
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home. Pastor Dave McClellan will officiate and burial will follow in the IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
