Wanda Glass

Wanda Glass, age 86, a resident of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
Wanda was born on January 23, 1927, in La Fontaine, Indiana, the daughter of Everett "Bert" and Mildred (Rennaker) Matthews. She was a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She attended Corner Stone Baptist Church in Portland. Wanda enjoyed knitting and crocheting and playing train dominos. She also enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers, Indiana University Basketball, Cincinnati Reds and NASCAR. She married Paul Glass on August 14, 1976 and he passed away on March 10, 1992.

1 daughter: Jayne Bailey (husband Tom) - Mississippi
1 sister: Betty Hester - Richmond, California
1 brother: Robert Matthews (wife Glenna) - Wabash, Indiana
1 step-son: Dick Glass - Millgrove, Indiana
1 step-sister: Jane Narducci (husband Ken) - Matthews, Indiana
Many grandchildren and several great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Craig Wilhelm.
Visitation for Wanda Glass will be held on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Wayne Ward will officiate and burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, south of Redkey.
