William T. Kirby

William T. Kirby, age 75, a resident of Portland passed away Sunday evening, April 21, 2013 ay Jay County Hospital. He was a former resident of Pennville. He retired from Indiana Glass Co. in Dunkirk after 34 years.
William Kirby was born Feb. 26, 1938 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky the son of Jessie and Nancy (McBay) Kirby. He was married June 12, 1958 to Lucille Woodall who survives.

2 Sons- Bill Kirby (wife-Janelle), Hartford City, Indiana
Gary Kirby (wife- Lesa), Portland, Indiana
2 Sisters- Dorothy Hargue, Berea, Kentucky
Margie Cromer. Mt. Vernon, Ky.
5 Grandchildren
He was preceeded in death by 1 daughter- Mary Jane Kirby
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland
Funeral Services will be held at 10am Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
