Alex Toney

     Alexander “Alex” Toney, age 25 a resident of Hartford City, Indiana passed away Thursday. September 16, 2021 in Hartford City.  He was a 2015 graduate of Jay County High School.  He was employed as a CNA at Persimmon Ridge and a Home Health Care Aide at Life Choice Home Health Care.  He had also worked at Portland Forge.   Alex enjoyed his video games, listening to music and spending time with his friends.

     Alexander Toney was born August 31, 1996 in Muncie, Indiana the son of Michael and Stacie (Hernly) Toney.

Survivors Include:

His parents- Michael and Stacie Toney, rural Hartford City

3 Brothers- Aaron, Andrew, and Evan Toney, all of Hartford City, Indiana

1 Sister- Alivia Toney, Hartford City, Indiana

Grandmother- Judy Bolton, Portland, and Step Grandmother- Diane Hernly, Eaton, Indiana

His best friend Austin Beatrice, and his dog, Babbles.

He is also survived by several Aunts and Uncles

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Deanna Hernly

     Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00-7:00pm Monday in the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Eads officiating.
