Cleda Bonvillian, age 85, a resident of Dunkirk, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Envive of Hartford City.
Cleda was born on February 11, 1937, in Banner Springs, Tennessee, the daughter of Least and Oakley (Young) Hicks. She worked at Millers Merry Manor and retired from Indiana Glass after 27 years. She was a member of the Van Wert American Legion Post 178 for over 21 years. Cleda married Tom Bonvillian in 1982 and he passed away in 1996.

Several great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her son; Kenny Bullard; siblings Mintford, Johnny, Irene, Kathy, Jerry, Betty, Rella, Manas and Miller; granddaughter Brandy Lester.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Darrell Shaver and Ronnie Smith will officiate the service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, north of Redkey.
