Danny E. Coby Jr.

     Danny E. Coby Jr, age 49, a resident of Portland, Passed away Tuesday at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland.  

     Danny was born in Jay County on January 17, 1973 the son of Danny Coby Sr. and Betty Louise (Best) Pfeifer. Danny work for 15 years at Stricks in Monroe, IN. Danny married Cicily Stein on June 19, 2012.

              Betty Louise Pfeifer – Portland, Indiana

Grandma: Betty Best – Portland, Indiana

3 Step Daughters: Dominique Johns (wife Dawn) - Geneva, Indiana

                              Robin Patch - Bluffton, Indiana

                              Jessica Patch - Bluffton, Indiana

2 Sisters: Wendy Springer (husband Nathan) – Pennville, Indiana

                Holly Wilhelm – Portland, Indiana

1 Brother: Thomas Coby (wife Annette) – Portland, Indiana

11 Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles

Danny was preceded in death by his grandpas John Best and Bill Coby

A private visitation for Danny will be held Tuesday June 21st at the Williamson – Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Burial will follow at IOOF Twin Hill Cemetery in Pennville at 2:30 pm.
