Darrell St. John

     Darrell St. John, age 88 a resident of Pennville, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at Canterbury Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.   He was a longtime Knox Twp. farmer in Jay County and drove a school bus for the Jay School Corporation.  He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and a member of the Hickory Grove Church of the Brethren, south of Pennville.

     Darrell St. John was born May 28, 1931 in Davenport, Oklahoma the son of Frank and Viola (Sullivan) St. John.

He was married on June 15, 1952 to Helen Shields.  She preceded him in death on January 13, 2019.

Survivors Include:

1 Daughter- Connie St. John, Indianapolis, Indiana

2 Sons- Randy St. John (wife-Donna), Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Jeffery St. John (wife- Charity), Colorado Springs, Colorado

6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren

      Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00am-11:00am on Tuesday at the Pennville Chapel of the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home.   Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home on Tuesday.   Pastor Earl Doll will officiate the services.  Private burial will be held in IOOF Twin Hills Cemetery in Pennville.
