Deborah "Debbie" Morrical

Obituary

Deborah “Debbie” Morrical, age 69, a resident of Portland, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Golden Living in Muncie.       

            Debbie was born on April 16, 1953, in Opelousas, Louisiana, the daughter of Alf Fregia and Juanita (Eikens) Gierhart.  She worked at Jay Garment in Portland and The Pizza Place in Portland.  Debbie married Randy Morrical on September 1, 1971 and he passed away on April 28, 2007. 

            Survivors include:

            Her children:  Randy Morrical, Jr. – Bryant, Indiana

                                    Sheri Morrical – Muncie, Indiana

                                    Melissa Jones (husband Raymond) – Portland, Indiana

                                    Donna Morrical – Portland, Indiana

            2 sisters:  Cindy Capetillo – Berne, Indiana

                             Venita Maddix (husband Jesse) – Bluffton, Indiana

            8 grandchildren

            She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Morrical; a son, Joshua Morrical; grandchildren, Christopher Morrical, Adrian Jarvis, Herber Norvell, Jr., Austin Jones and Joshua Norvell; a brother, Larry Fregia and a sister, Cheryl Myers. 

            Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Services to celebrate Debbie’s life will follow at 7 p.m. on Thursday.  Burial will be held at a later date in Antioch Cemetery. 

            Memorials may be directed towards the family.
