Florence "Judy" Campbell

Judy Campbell, age 81, a resident of Portland, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at IU Health Jay Hospital.

            Florence Judy Campbell was born July 15, 1940 in Fort Wayne, Indiana the daughter of Harry Hunt and Gladys (Archbold) Hardy. She graduated from Portland High School in 1960, Florence Judy was a member of the Noble Congregational Christian Church, Noble Busy Bees Home Economics club, and assistant 4-H leader.

            She married Eldon Campbell on May 15, 1960.

Survivors Include:

Her husband: Eldon Campbell – Portland, Indiana

2 daughters: Sherry Axe – Portland, Indiana

                    Lori Hoang (husband Thanh) – Plymouth, Michigan

1 son: Phil Campbell (wife Nanette) – Indianapolis, Indiana

9 grandchildren, 7great grandchildren  

She was preceded in death by a son Darren Campbell

            Visitation will be held Monday 4-7 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Huey and Pastor Ruth Funk to officiate the services. Burial will be held in Salamonia Cemetery in Salamonia, Indiana.

            Memorials may be directed to Gideon’s International or charity of choice.
