Hal David Ballard, age 66 a resident of rural Portland passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at his home. He had worked at Jay Products in Portland and was currently employed as an electrician at ALMCO Steel in Bluffton.
Hal Ballard was born May 21, 1953 in Union City, Indiana the son of Kenneth and Ruth Evelyn (Hess) Ballard.
He was married in 1989 to Pam Henry.

Penny Ashcraft (husband Garth) – Dubois, Idaho
Cindy Slagley (husband Jim) – Ridgeville, Indiana
Step-daughter- Marla Miller (husband-Jeff), Greenville, Ohio
Step-son- Shane Denney ( Pat Reynard), Portland,
4 Grandchildren- Jordan and Hunter Miller, Deon and Michael Denney
2 Great Granddaughters- Rylie Miller and Luna Denney

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday at the Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 4:00pm Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor James Henry officiating
