Hugh "Butch" Grider

Hugh “Butch” Grider, age 76 a resident of Portland passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home. He was self employed as a professional carpet installer in the Jay County area for many years. He was a 1956 graduate of Portland High School.
Butch Grider was born May 2, 1938 in Portland, Indiana the son of William and Deloris (Corle) Grider. He was married December 18, 1981 to Linda Fisher.

1 Daughter- Kelli Shores (husband-Tim), Poneto, Indiana
1 Sister- Judy Alexander (husband-Dick), Portland, Indiana
8 Granddaughters and 10 Great Grandchildren
A step-daughter, Lisa Hanks preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held from Noon -2pm on Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Thursday in the Williamson and Spencer Funeral Home in Portland. Pastor Hugh Kelly will officiate the services and burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.
