Kay DeVoss, age 69, a resident of Redkey, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at IU Health Ball Hospital in Muncie.
Kay was born September 20, 1952, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of William “Bill” and Tootie (Rees) Brunson. Kay graduated from Redkey High School in 1970. She retired from MSSL in Portland after over 30 years of service, and was a member of Gamma Nu Sorority and Ridgeville American Legion Auxiliary Post #507. Kay married Gary DeVoss on September 12, 1970.

Scott Brunson (wife Dorothy) - Texas
5 grandchildren: Skye and Callie Hough (Brett St. John), Sheldon (Claire Evers), Cassidy, and Byron Upp
3 great grandchildren: Gideon, Larkin, and Deckard
Kay was preceded in death by her Parents and a grandson Joseph Hisel
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, south of Redkey with Pastor Joe Hines to officiate the services.
