Kent Jenkins, Sr.

Kent Jenkins, Sr. age 66, a resident of Portland, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

            Kent was born on December 15, 1956, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Thurlo and Barbara (VanNote) Jenkins.  He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked at EPC Graphics in Geneva and worked as a truck driver.

                                   Kent Jenkins, Jr. (wife Tiffany) – Portland, Indiana

                                   Brittany Burkitt – Shelbyville, Indiana

                                   Stacey Young (husband Bobby) – Winchester, Indiana

                                   Katy Dreifke – Stowe, Pennsylvania

                                   Laura Dreifke – Pottstown, Pennsylvania

            3 brothers:  Ricky Jenkins – Portland, Indiana

                               William Jenkins – Portland, Indiana

                               Stephen Jenkins (wife Karen) – Portland, Indiana

            1 sister:  Susan Arnold – Huntington, Indiana

            Grandchildren:  Dustin Moles, Austin Moles, Adayln Shipman, Alejandro España, Ryder Burkitt, Monroe Burkitt, Gemma Burkitt, Westyn Keener, Saven Young and Ashlee Young.

Several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his companion Snoop. 

            Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery, southeast of Portland.  Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #211 of Portland.
