Paggy Miller

            Paggy Miller, age 70, a resident of Hartford City, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at her home. 

            Paggy was born on November 18, 1952, in Morehead, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Mary (Cantrell) Nickell.  She worked for UTA in Berne, Indiana and Jay County Retirement Home.  Paggy married Robert Miller on November 17, 1969. 

            Survivors include:

            Her husband:  Robert Miller – Hartford City, Indiana

            Her children:  Robert Miller (wife Michele) – Greenwood, Indiana

                                    Jesse Miller – Hartford City, Indiana

                                    Paggy Miller – Hartford City, Indiana

                                    Linda Roysden (husband Jeremy) – Hartford City, Indiana

                                    Marry Jane Miller – Geneva, Indiana

            Siblings:  Dolly Gambill (husband Hearl), Jean Hinkledire (husband Bob), Linda Tonnellier (husband David) Lorine Blanchard and Barb Caldwell.

            10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

            Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

            She was preceded in death by the following siblings, Gladys Bauman, Maxine Shawver, Eula Bowman, Billy Dublin, Bertha Roberts, Shirley Bjerke, Patty Brooks, Albertis Dulin and Corine Dulin, and a granddaughter Kari Johnson. 

            Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. 

            Memorials may be directed to the family in care of the funeral home.
