Patricia "Patty" Hunter

     Patricia “Patty” L. Hunter, age 67, a resident of Bluffton, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

     Patricia was born August 22, 1955, in Winchester, Indiana, the daughter of Herschel Platt and Clara Bell Towne. She worked at Family Dollar in Ft. Wayne and Winchester. Patricia married Thomas L. Hunter on December 10, 1988 and he passed away on April 21, 1998.

6 sons: Jacob Lykins – Anderson, Indiana

            Jonathan Lykins (wife Stefanie) – Petroleum, Indiana

            Jerimiah Lykins (Leanna Reed) – Petroleum, Indiana

            Russel Lykins (wife Keri) – Bryant, Indiana

            Lane Hunter – Bluffton, Indiana

            Rich Hunter – Fort Wayne, Indiana

1 daughter: Tadgie Hunter – Lima, Ohio

1 sister: Carolyn Bond (husband Roger) – Winchester, Indiana

1 brother: Jesse Platt (wife Marla) – Anderson, Indiana

Brother-in-law: Mike Davis – Lynn, Indiana

Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

     She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Hunter, a son David Hunter and two sisters Becky Davis and Linda Everman.

     Visitation will be Friday from 12-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Decatur, Indiana.
