Paul Shaneyfelt

     Paul Shaneyfelt, age 79, a resident of Portland, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home in Portland. 

     Paul was born on April 12, 1944, in Jay County, the son of Orville and Martha (Stump) Shaneyfelt.  He graduated from Pennville High School in 1964 and worked for Joyce Dayton in Portland and the Jay School Corporation as a custodian.  Paul married Leota Rowles on June 6, 1964. 

     Survivors include:

     His wife of 59 years:  Leota Shaneyfelt – Portland, Indiana

     Children:  Douglas Shaneyfelt – Killeen, Texas

                      Angela Wright (husband Jim) – Yorktown, Indiana

     1 brother:  Orville Mark Shaneyfelt (wife Sharon) – Portland, Indiana

     3 grandchildren

     Graveside services will be held at a later date at Center Cemetery, west of Portland. 

      Arrangements entrusted to Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland.
