Treadesa "Trudy" Jackson

            Treadesa “Trudy” M. Jackson, age 83, a resident of Portland, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center in Albany, Indiana.

     Trudy was born on May 3, 1940 in Farmland, Indiana the daughter of Worley and Lillie (Foster) Murphy. Trudy retired from CTS in Berne, Indiana.

     Trudy married Larry Jackson on June 29, 1968.

Her husband: Larry Jackson – Portland, Indiana

Son: Loren Jackson – Muncie, Indiana

Daughter: Deb Crump – Portland, Indiana

Brother: Emmett Murphy – Celina, Ohio

2 Sisters: Dorthy Fenton – Ohio

               Ireda “Sue” Mullins

Grandchildren: Katelyn Crump, Evan Jackson, and Cassandra Jackson

Great Grandchildren: Marlea Crump, Mason Rittenhouse

She was preceded in death by 3 Brothers James “Jimmy” Murphy, Leroy Murphy, Billy Murphy, and 3 Sisters Patsy Sommer, Karen Smith, and Neva “Toots” Miltroka-Roy.

     Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Services will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Liber Cemetery, South of Portland.
